Nike Celebrates 20th Anniversary of the Air Max Plus with "Triple Black" & "Triple White" Versions
Big plans for the retro-futuristic sneaker in 2018.

The Nike Air Max Plus has had a long illustrious distribution, and as 2018 comes around, it heads into its 20th anniversary with the release of the “Triple Black” & “Triple White” colorways. Each shoe will come completely draped in black or white atop the classic silhouette with the only break in color coming from the “Tn Air” imprint.
In 1998, Sean McDowell designed the sneaker in the earliest stages of his tenure at Nike. Being an exclusive concept for Footlocker, the release of the runner gained immense thrill, eventually leading to it transcending its running roots to a become a lifestyle sneaker.
No release date has been set, but as the new year comes around it can be expected that Nike will pull out the bells and whistle for this retro-futuristic classic’s commemoration. For more Nike news, read how Sean McDowell originally conceived the shoe.
