Back in June of 2015, Band of Outsiders founder and designer Scott Sternberg called it quits ahead of the label’s Fall/Winter 2015 release. The brand then continued under Belgian fashion fund CLCC SA before calling it quits with a one-day-only sale at Filene’s Basement on Black Friday. Then, almost immediately after, CLCC SA promised that Band of Outsiders would make a return for 2017. Now the Belgian fashion fund is making good on that promise.

CLCC SA has confirmed that Band of Outsiders will indeed be back for Spring/Summer 2017. As promised, both menswear and womenswear lines will return to retailers early next year — both of which will be unveiled in just a few short weeks at New York Fashion Week in September. Sternberg won’t be involved with the resurrected label, so it’ll be interesting to see how its latest offerings compare to the Sternberg designs of old — previous reports have suggested that “the brand will retain its Southern California aesthetic.”

We’ll know for sure when Band of Outsiders returns to the runway in the Big Apple on September 10.
