Over the past several years, San Diego Comic-Con has grown rapidly from cult following to cultural phenomenon — the event now hosts not only comic-related events, but video games, movies, toys and TV as well. An all-encompassing event like SDCC can be daunting for brands and retailers of any size to keep up with, but this year when the 2016 convention rolled around, West Coast sneaker and streetwear retailer BAIT was more than ready.

Collaborating with a who’s who of the entertainment industry (20 licensed properties, 10 movie studios and 15 brands to be precise) over five days, BAIT started strong with two booths inside SDCC and its San Diego chapter store and kept the party going quite literally the whole time. Movie partners ranged from Seth Rogan’s Sausage Party to decades-old classics like Back to the Future and Star Wars, while other collabs included everything from Hello Kitty to Medicom Toy to Nike. While events were hosted and special products were released, BAIT still managed to continue with its bread and butter — dropping some hyped sneakers like the BAIT x Diadora x Felix the Cat kicks and the adidas Pharrell NMD during the course of the week.

Check out some recap photos of the BAIT SDCC craziness above and shop the collaborative gear over at its online store.
