Range Comics is officially partnering with musician Shaboozey to debut his first-ever graphic series, The Outlaw Cherie Lee. Marking the artist’s premier appearance at San Diego Comic-Con International 2026, the strategic crossover project expands the narrative scope of his highly anticipated companion studio album.
Created alongside Xaivia Inniss and adapted by scriptwriter Robert Jeffrey II, the three-issue comic collection delivers a dark, cinematic Western revenge tale. The story follows the titular protagonist, Cherie Lee, who abandons her badge to hunt down the outlaw gang responsible for murdering her sheriff father. Illustrated by Sean Damien Hill with colors by Andrew Dalhouse, the visual aesthetic perfectly mirrors the raw storytelling found throughout Shaboozey’s signature country-infused catalog.
The multi-hyphenate creator will celebrate the release with two distinct appearances on the convention floor. On Friday evening, he will appear at the Funko Village booth to sign advance copies of the premiere issue. Following the signing, the artist will headline a special live panel and podcast recording of Get Rec’d With Straw Hat Goofy, hosted by creator Juju Green, to discuss his creative expansion into comic books and reveal an exclusive trailer narrated by Jamie Foxx.
The Outlaw Cherie Lee issue one will be available early at the Funko booth on July 24, 2026, before his album drops on July 31 and the comic receives a nationwide release on August 18, 2026.
