Pigalle & NikeLab Resurrect the Air Unlimited
Stéphane Ashpool and the Swoosh unite to revive a cult classic.

With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, NikeLab has joined forces with Parisian stalwart Pigalle and founder Stéphane Ashpool once again — this time to revive a mid-’90s cult classic. After tapping Ashpool and co. last summer for a special Nike LeBron 12 Elite, Nike has gone in a different direction this time around, looking back to 1994 to bring back the old Carnivore-inspired Air Unlimited. Rocked by the likes of David Robinson for his 71-point outburst against the Clippers back on April 24 of that year, the kicks sport a decidedly ’90s aesthetic, complete with criss-crossing Velcro midfoot straps, more strapped lockdown around the lower part of the ankle, and a high-cut neoprene collar. Naturally, Ashpool has updated things a bit, opting for a clean “Triple White” look and subtle embroidered branding.
Look for the kicks to land at Pigalle’s Paris flagship come Saturday, June 25. And if you’re a fan of the throwback silhouette and miss out on the collaborative drop, fear not: Nike will be dropping the Air Unlimited’s OG look later this year.
