Looking back at 2024, Nike brought back many archival silhouettes, but only some managed to hold the attention of sneakerheads over time. One such shoe is the Air Max Sunder, which, having been the subject of a COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS collaboration in 2022, quickly found momentum and even earned some sneaker of the year nods thanks to Kids of Immigrants’ two collaborative colorways.
Of the many in-line looks to surface, a set of three GORE-TEX pairs in women’s sizing were teased during this year’s first SNKRS Showcase, with the all-black and “Hyper Crimson” colorways dropping already. Now, the third “Bold Berry” pair has been officially unveiled ahead of its early 2025 release. As indicated by its initial teaser, the pair combines its signature purple hue with black detailing, including a “GORE-TEX” callout at the heel.
At the time of writing, Nike has not announced a specific release date for this “Bold Berry” iteration of the Air Max Sunder GORE-TEX. Stay tuned for updates as it was currently discussed as a spring 2025 release in women’s sizing via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $210 USD.
