As part of its involvement in the Paris Fashion Week festivities, Nike took to the city of love to host its second SNKRS Showcase livestream. The virtual event debuted last October with over 30 then-upcoming footwear styles highlighted. Now, another hefty batch of sneakers has been unveiled, as well as a preview of apparel from its ISPA and ESC lines, which were unfortunately not included in the official post-stream round-up.

The Look of Field Collection

Starting first with the “Look of Field” collection, two returning football styles were spotlighted as lifestyle pairs: the Total 90 III and the Gato. For the Total 90 III, it has been spotted in its lifestyle form for the first time, sporting patent leather-equipped colorways of silver, black and yellow. As for the Gato, it has been utilized by the Nike SB team in the past, including a prominent collaboration with Supreme back in Fall/Winter of 2018. Its color arrangements involve white, gray, maroon and green — with all four arriving in suede while being backed by a gum outsole. Look out for the Gato to arrive on shelves this holiday season while the Total 90 III is slated to drop next spring.

The Icons Collection

Next up is the “Icons” collection, which involves some exciting bring-backs and a few never-before-seen iterations of the Swoosh’s beloved models. Looking at the women’s-exclusive Air Rift, two leather pairs have been crafted for this holiday season in all-black and all-red while new suede iterations in dark and light brown are set to drop next spring. From there, Nike ACG entered the mix with its bulky ACG Goadome dropping during the holidays. This time around, the Goadome, having initially released back in 2000, is featured in all-black with technical specifications involving water-resistant leather, a leather lining and reinforced triple-stitching.

The Dunk Low continues to journey around the world later this year with a new “Berlin”-themed pair that pays homage to the city’s renowned club scene and the industrial design language that pervades its streets. As for the Air Footscape Woven, its “Rainbow” colorway returns in its original form during the holidays as well, following the release of the 2012 reissue that utilized a retooled build. The Air Force 1 Low rounded out the collection in “Paris” and “Vanta Black” colorways that are coming in the fall and holiday seasons respectively. The former nods to the city with its leather jacket-inspired upper and catacomb-based pattern at the outsole. As for the “Vanta Black” pair, it shares its name with one of the darkest pigments ever, offering a fresh take on the notorious all-black AF1 look with a suede and nubuck upper.

The Cult Classics Collection

Moving on to the “Cult Classics” collection, several sought-after designs are set to make their return. First up is the Air Foamposite One coming back in its legendary “Galaxy” arrangement — a look that first released as part of Nike Basketball’s All-Star Weekend collection in 2012. With ASW taking place in Orlando that year, the Swoosh looked to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center for some out-of-this-world inspiration that is set to return to shelves early next year. The long-awaited return of the Air Flightposite in “Metallic Gold” is scheduled for the end of the year, following-up on the model’s most recent reissue in 2019. Next up is the Air Zoom Spiridon, releasing in its original form from 1997 later this year. A familiar pair of Air Force 1 Lows completes the collection as an homage to the “Escape” pack from 2005. Set to release 20 years later (next spring), the suede and leather classic sees its various brown hues make a return across the iconic low-top sneaker.

The Maxxed Out Collection

Last but not least, Air Max magic engulfs the “Maxxed Out” collection. As the Air Max Sunder begins its in-line rollout this year, three GORE-TEX-equipped colorways are set to launch next spring in women’s sizes. Each design features a water-repellent ripstop and inner GORE-TEX bootie as the lacing system has been removed to make it a true slip-on. The ladies are also being treated to two Swarovski-crystal equipped takes on the Air Max Plus later this year — appearing in “Sunset” and “Moonlight” iterations. The former features orange and red at the upper’s base while the latter goes all-black with silver crystals across the silhouette’s signature cage. Both pairs include premium packaging elements, such as a microfiber dust bag for the shoes.

Nike is also set to introduce a new Air Max hybrid silhouette during the holiday season — the Air Waffle Racer — which combines the original Blue Ribbon Sports (Nike’s original name) Waffle Racer with the Air Max Plus. It notably carries the Waffle Racer’s upper while the sole unit has been split into two distinct segments: the forefoot with its Waffle Racer sole and the heel with its Tuned Air sole unit. Rounding out the special event is 2006’s Air Max TL 2.5, which returns next year in two colorways after COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS’ pairs drop later in 2024.
