Take a Closer Look at the CDG HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Max TL 2.5
The sneakers made their debut at the Japanese brand’s recent Paris runway show.

Comme des Garçons used its latest runway to preview a new collaboration with Nike, a special edition of the Air Max TL 2.5. The shoe was previewed during the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Fall/Winter 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week.
The collection came with the tagline, “SPIRITUAL WORLD. White is symbolic of prayer.” As such, most of the garments came in shades of white and beige, as well as some touches of black and grey.
The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 conformed to that color palette. Models either wore an all-white model or a version with a black upper and white sole. A few models also sported an all-black edition.
Images shared by Jean Jacques Ndjoli on Instagram offer a closer look at all three models. The shoes follow the original design, which launched in 2006, with a subtle wavy sole and dashed lines of the side in a wave-like pattern. A swoosh dots the tip of the sneaker, while the back panel is emblazoned with “COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS.”

Nike and Comme des Garçons have collaborated several times over the past few decades. The Japanese label tapped Nike for its Autumn/Winter 2021 runway show, in which Rei Kawakubo reimagined the 1990s-era Nike Air Foamposite One.
A release date and price for the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Max TL 2.5 hasn’t been revealed yet.
