Beijing-based shop SOULGOODS has established a close relationship with Nike thanks to its projects with both Converse and the Dunk High. Now, it pivots to another side of the Swoosh with its first release in collaboration with Jordan Brand.

For their debut design, the duo has looked to the “one before the [Air Jordan] 1” — the Jordan Air Ship. Named the “Prove Yourself” colorway, the inspirational look begins with gray at its sole unit, connecting to a rough gray suede at the mudguard. From there, a rich brown hue adorns the mesh toe box and soft suede upper that hosts an embroidered “5” at the lateral heel and SOULGOODS’ “Soul Tiger” motif at the collar. Black detailing arrives courtesy of the laces, lining and Nike Air branding at the tongue while “Prove Yourself” embroidery can be spotted at the shoe’s interior in the aforementioned brown.

At the time of writing, neither Jordan Brand nor SOULGOODS have disclosed release specifics pertaining to their collaborative Air Ship “Prove Yourself.” Stay tuned for updates, including official imagery, as we anticipate its release to take place in the coming months via Nike SNKRS, SOULGOODS and select retailers at a price of $150 USD.
