Paramore Kicks Off A24's Imminent Talking Heads' Tribute Album
The production company announced the album with a teaser of the band covering “Burning Down the House.”
When A24 remastered the Talking Heads‘ Stop Making Sense last year, a whole new generation was privy to what’s still deemed one of the greatest concert films of all time. It seems the equivocal production company is keeping the momentum going, now unveiling the first track from its upcoming compilation album, covered by none other than Paramore.
“We’ve got a tape we’d like to play you. 16 tracks from 16 artists,” A24 shared in an Instagram caption. A24 dropped off the first look at what we can expect from the imminent LP, which sees the band’s Hayley Williams opening a package left on her doorstep – which she unboxes to reveal the same suit David Byrne rocked on-stage in the film. The clip closes out with audio of Paramore covering the Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House.” Needless to say, the comments section is filled with excited Paramore, Talking Heads and A24 aficionados alike.

Details on the imminent release remain scarce at the time, with the only confirmed info being that Paramore will open the 16-track album with the first cut.
