NEPENTHES Debuts New Brand “SHIDEN”
Fueled by motorcycle stylings.
Japanese store NEPENTHES is expanding its portfolio with the debut of its new brand “SHIDEN.” Fueling the new brand is a motorcycle-inspired personality – revealing a testament to fused, edgy stylings.
Leading the brand is stylist Masataka Hattori as its director and NEPENTHES CEO Keizo Shimizu as the design lead. To debut the brand, SHIDEN looked to the Fall/Winter 2024 season for its inaugural collection. For the first collection, the brand set its sights on Japan’s motorcycle culture. Inside you’ll find a wardrobe of pieces like jackets, blazers, remixed tops, knitwear, relaxed coordinating sets, full-body suits, graphic tees and more.
Livening the collection is an assortment of graphic designs crafted by NEPENTHES director, Tokuro Aoyagi. Standout pieces from the collection include a full-body denim suit, a multicolored nylon set with a wave-like pattern and a striking black leather moto suit. Additionally, the collection features select collaborative pieces with tattoo artist, Horimomo. Intended for daily wear, the collection aptly crafts eye-catching pieces that center functionality and edge.
