Although the beginning of the year signifies a new start, for those in fashion it represents one of the year’s busiest times with the start of the international runway show season. In preparation for the forthcoming events, the Council of Fashion Designers of America has released the preliminary official calendar for New York Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2024 season, which is taking place from February 9-14.

Kicking off the week is Helmut Lang, which will mark Peter Do’s second runway show for the beloved NYC-based brand. Featuring over 65 names, the calendar sees a host of returning names like Willy Chavarria, Eckhaus Latta, Kim Shui, Sandy Liang, Area, Theophilio, Sergio Hudson, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors, anOnlyChild, LUAR and more.

Closing out the week is none other than the celebrated Thom Browne. Aside from returning brands, a special name on this year’s calendar is Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who is departing from the Paris Fashion Week roster this season to hold his first runway show in New York City. The calendar would not be complete without first-time additions that include the likes of Jane Wade, Callas, Colleen Allen and more.

Take a look at the full calendar here on the CFDA website. Stay tuned for Hypbeast’s coverage of New York Fashion Week for the FW24 season.
