The dog days of summer are winding down to a close, but that isn’t hindering the best sportswear brands in the game from delivering the heat. Over the coming days, you’ll witness mainstay imprints like Nike, adidas, Jordan Brand and more distribute new collaborative propositions and inline styles, but before we jump into those, let’s recap all of the sneaker world’s highlights from the last week.

Starting out with exclusive features, Hypebeast sat down with AMIRI footwear and accessory designer Fardin Hazratizadeh to discuss his love for the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike AF1 Mid as well as Tobey McIntosh about what his Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration mean to his journey and his community. On the news side, Nike had a handsome batch of new installments to show off. We captured a look at its spooky Air Force 1 Low “Halloween” colorway and official images of the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low and learned that the Dunk Low “Veneer” colorway it slated to return next year.

Jordan Brand also sparked excitement from its fans as it announced the release date of the Union LA x Bephie’s Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 1 collaboration, revealed its Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Atmosphere Grey” colorway and teased an early look at the Air Jordan 2 Low “Christmas.” Other major moments that popped up included Vans immortalizing Mac Miller‘s Swimming with a special Authentic collab, New Balance uncovering its Warped Runner in a clean “Black/Blue” colorway and project with Malbon and Packer honoring Allen Iverson’s Legacy with a Reebok Question Mid “Burgundy Suede” team-up.

Why You Should Cop: Valentine’s Day isn’t for another several months, but in case you wanted to scoop up some kicks that are reminiscent of the holiday for lovers, Nike is dropping this Zoom Vomero 5 “Team Red/Pink Foam” colorway. The runner-turned-lifestyle model has been reworked with a two-toned presentation, its “Team Red” hue of which covers the toe boxes, ribbed quarters and heel cages while the appears on the overlays and Zoom-cushioned midsoles.

Why You Should Cop: What do you get when you amalgamate the two wackiest footwear silhouettes known to mankind? A Crocs x MSCHF Big Yellow Boot collaboration. The clog experts lent their touch to the NY streetwear label’s clown-y silhouette by adding a sport mode heel spoiler and punched out holes across the toe box to give the kicks a Classic Clog-inspired aesthetic.

Why You Should Cop: Kevin Durant is one of the most elite scorers that the NBA has ever seen and the nickname “Easy Money” is fitting for him. So this week, Nike is honoring this part of his basketball journey by giving his KD 3 an “Easy Money” themed get-up. American bill-esque shades of green alternate along the base layer. KD badges on the tongues and the game controller icons on the heels are splashed with penny-esque hits and the insoles are accessorized with money patterns that feature the two-time NBA champion’s face.

Why You Should Cop: If you can’t wait until Mamba Day to get your hands on Kobe-related gear, Nike is slated to bring back the Nike Air Flight Huarache “Lakers Away” colorway. Its color composition borrows the NBA franchise’s signature “Varsity Purple” and “Del Sol” hues by placing them beneath a dominant black hue. A blend of neoprene, canvas and nubuck are present across the upper with yellow branding on the tongue and purple accents on the rear.

A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Chuck 70 Low “Pavement”

Why You Should Cop: Before A-COLD-WALL* introduces its Nike Air Max Plus collection, it’s taking time to further extend its portfolio with Converse by dropping a Converse Chuck 70 Low “Pavement” team-up. Its appearance is essentially the same as the A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Chuck 70 Hi “Pavement” collab that launched fall, but this variation doesn’t feature midsole branding.

Why You Should Cop: The Air Jordan 12 has been seen in a bevy of new outfits this year such as a collaboration with A Ma Maniére and in a black and orange color scheme to celebrate the 2023 WNBA All-Star game. And to further along its momentum this month, the Jumpman team has fashioned the silhouette with a “Field Purple” motif. Standard two-toned uppers split between its titular shade and black while regal touches of gold poke out through the eyelets. If you’re a hoops fan that love MJ and the Lakers, then look no further.

Why You Should Cop: Now that he got his first Louis Vuitton show out of the way, Pharrell is now redirecting our attention back to his line with adidas. His imprint Humanrace is expanding its Samba catalog with three new colorways: “Terracotta,” “Charcoal” and “White.” Each is prepared with a tonal presentation and is styled with oversized Trefoil logos on the tongues and “Humanrace” call-outs next to the stripes.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Dream a World”

Why You Should Cop: Nike is honoring the DMV area’s deep-rooted love for Foams by tapping Social Status and A Ma Maniére to drop a regional exclusive Air Foamposite One “Dream a World” colorway. Taking inspiration from Langston Hughes’ poem “I Dream A World”, the execution on the Foamposite features brushstroke patterns across its ribbed base layer that is styled with “Sepia Stone” and “Metallic Silver” hues. Special “Luck/Success Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity” messaging dons the insoles and in all-over fashion across the shoe boxes.
