Malbon Taps New Balance Golf for a New Heritage Model
A new golf silhouette with running and skate influences.
Malbon Golf has renewed its partnership with New Balance Golf to unveil a never-before-seen silhouette called the Heritage. Previously the brands teamed up for a collaborative take on the 997G, a shoe that was later slated for general release. Now once again the two have lined up a silhouette that appears to be an amalgamation of various running and skating New Balance entries.
Taking a look through the New Balance catalog, comparisons can be drawn with the Numeric 1010 Tiago Lemos and even the 990v3 with its intersecting overlays and underlays creating tiny “windows” of mesh. The midsole mold is where the Heritage begins to look more like the former and lay bare its skate influences.
The collection is also packed with technology to aid golf performance like waterproof microfiber leather, a breathable mesh upper, an abrasion-resistant NDurance outsole, FastTwist 3.0 removable spikes and CUSH+ material placed on the insole. The colorways available are white/green, blue, sage, and iguana in men’s sizing 5-13.
