UK rap star Stormzy is currently on a roll. Having recently dropped a slew of new material — including a new record with London-based R&B singer, Raye — Big Mike has returned, using his viral 30th Birthday Gala as a chance to drop his new “Angel In The Marble” freestyle.
The new release from Stormzy encapsulates the musician’s infectious energy, with lyrics that delve into the power of Black British manhood, while further lines explore Stormzy’s era-defining career that has seen him smash records, and set a fresh blueprint for British rappers looking to achieve international success on a global scale.
Coming along with some accompanying visuals, “Angel In The Marble” was filmed at Stormzy’s recent 30th birthday celebration, #TheMikeGala, which took place on July 28. Featuring a plethora of gala attendees, stars from all walks of life, such as Louis Theroux, Dina Asher-Smith, Skepta, Judi Love, Burna Boy, Danny Dyer, Alison Hammond, Ghetts, Wretch 32, and many more are included.
