British luxury automaker McLaren has revealed its new Spectrum Theme paint finish.

Developed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the striking multi-tone finish is exclusive to the brand’s 750S model. The striking layered design comes in Spectrum Blue, Spectrum Grey and Spectrum Orange and is applied to the car’s structure by the McLaren Special Operations team. Also, the team is able to craft new color themes in accordance with additional MSO bespoke features.

The darkest shades of the theme paint finish appear at the back end of the car and begin to get lighter around the mid-mark. As such, the striking multi-tone design converted at the door – making the vehicle’s butterfly effect even more eye-catching. Coming after the 720S, McLaren’s 750S is the automaker’s most powerful and lightest production supercar. Leading the charge is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with 750 ps, 800 Nm of torque.  With a top speed of 206 mph, the vehicle is able to hit 62 mph in 2.8 seconds.

Additional features include improved suspension, an improved steering ratio, a new exhaust system with center-mounted tips, an extended splitter, larger vents, carbon ceramic disks and a larger rear wing.

Check out the new Spectrum Theme paint finish in the gallery above.
