LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops Cover the MB.02 in "Gorangé"
A unique blend of orange and grey.
The NBA Playoffs have heated up with four explosive second round match-ups featuring powerhouses such as the Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics. For the Charlotte Hornets, they’re laying low after a season riddled with injuries and are anxiously awaiting next week’s NBA Draft Lottery. Without star point guard LaMelo Ball for a majority of the past season, they finished at a 27-55 record. However, this hasn’t stopped Ball from winning elsewhere.
Having introduced the MB.02 with PUMA Hoops last October, Ball has since outfitted the court-ready sneaker in a bevy of electric looks — from a Nickelodeon collaboration to a celebration of Lunar New Year. Now, the duo has prepared a “Gorangé” colorway that takes a bold orange and fuses it with hits of gray. Ball’s typical motifs such as his “1 of 1” branding make a return while its typical NITRO-backed midsole offers extensive responsiveness.
For those interested in picking up a pair, LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.02 “Gorangé” is priced at $130 USD and is set to release on May 12 via PUMA and select PUMA Hoops retailers around the world.
