APB Teams up With Nike on the LeBron 20 "FAMU" Pack

Marking the Whitaker Group-backed store’s first collaboration with Nike.

When it comes to storytelling, the Whitaker Group and its subsidiaries have found the perfect balance in bringing authenticity to design. Recent collaborations between the brand and Nike have highlighted underrepresented communities, supported local movements and more.

The duo’s latest project sees APB and Nike celebrate Florida A&M University with two colorways of the LeBron 20. This comes after the HBCU teamed up with the Nike Basketball team on the LeBron 7 earlier this year. On the LeBron 20, “Orange” and “Ivory” colorways have been prepared in a premium leather at the upper. Looking specifically at the “Ivory” pair, a subtle snakeskin inclusion nods to FAMU’s nickname — the Rattlers. Co-branding appears at the sockliner and tongue of both pairs while the heel spotlights the university.

Release for the APB x Nike LeBron 20 “FAMU” Pack begins with local in-store raffles via all APB storefronts until May 28. Alongside this, a general online raffle is taking place simultaneously until May 28 and is followed by a complete launch on June 2 via the APB website at a price of $200 USD.
