Meet AM-FM Equipment, an all-new skateboarding imprint that creates high-quality wheels and houses a fully-fledged apparel and accessories company. Behind the new label are Scott Tepper, who previously served as creative director for HUF, and his longtime friend Sagan Lockhart, an original Odd Future member with deep roots in skating, photography and music. Together, they’re looking to make AM-FM the next best outpost for skating equipment and drip.

At launch, the brand hosts three flagship, pro-model wheels, ranging from 54mm to 56mm. Among them, skaters Carl Aikens and Jahmir Brown each possess their own name-brand models, while the Equalizer Street Cruiser is billed as Naquan Rollins’ wheel.

Meanwhile, on the apparel and accessories front, the brand centers its iconography, to start. Across headwear, hoodies and T-shirts, AM-FM keeps its inaugural designs straightforward, planting its namesake lettering in lowercase font across the center of each silhouette. While hoodies and caps remain neutral in tone, T-shirts arrive bold, in saturated hues of orange and lilac. Additionally, two T-shirts feature expressive graphics of colorful orbs and another flaunts a globe-inspired design with genie-like branding.

Alongside its product categories, AM-FM enters the skate park with an impressive team of riders from brands including Palace, adidas, DC Shoes and Chocolate, among others. To date, the team roster features Aikens, Brown, Rollins, Kanin Garner, Dougie, Sal Barbier and Q3.

Take a look at AM-FM’s debut collection in the gallery above, and shop it now on the brand’s webstore.

In more fashion news, Palace and Spitfire united for a skate-ready capsule collection.
