Yannick Noah fronts the capsule, anchored by a reworked Wendon sneaker.

vowels and Le Coq Sportif have joined forces on an exclusive capsule that brings the French sportswear label’s extensive archive into the New York-meets-Tokyo brand’s research-driven design language. Fronted by tennis legend and longtime Le Coq Sportif ambassador Yannick Noah, the collection draws on the idea of sport as a broader cultural force, filtering heritage athletic codes through vowels’ made-in-Japan approach.

A black, white and chartreuse palette runs throughout, joined by a recurring botanical motif. Highlights include a black varsity jacket with chartreuse piping and a hand-drawn floral graphic, a white crewneck bearing Le Coq Sportif’s rooster crest, an oversized co-branded raglan T-shirt and a technical long-sleeve top. Wide-leg track pants, matching shorts and a structured cap round out the apparel and accessories.

The hero piece from the release is the Wendon, a classic 1960s running silhouette from Le Coq Sportif. vowels reimagined the timeless model into a new elasticated version, softening its aesthetic while preserving its slim, historical proportions. The vowels x Le Coq Sportif capsule collection is exclusively available via vowels online and through its New York flagship boutique.
