Shaq Brand and Shareef O’Neal have officially previewed the inaugural Shareef by Shaq Collection during New York Fashion Week. The footwear showcase marks a new creative direction for the company as Shaquille O’Neal hands a larger role to his son to expand the label beyond traditional basketball performance models.
Highlighting the preview is an unnamed lifestyle sneaker that departs from the brand’s historic basketball silhouettes. Constructed with a classic cupsole, thick laces, and a removable zippered shroud, the model incorporates a reworked, relaxed interpretation of the signature Dunkman logo across its side profile.
The presentation also showcased additional upcoming silhouettes, including updated takes on the Devastator, the 4XT, and a lightweight running-style model detailed with perforated side panels and a molded sole. These new iterations build on existing Shaq Brand offerings currently available on the market, such as updated versions of the Dunkman 1.0, Reign, and Devastator.
Official release dates and pricing details for the new Shareef by Shaq footwear collection have yet to be announced.
