BROTHER BRIDGE and KAMIYA have joined forces on a collaborative boot that reworks the Asakusa-based shoemaker’s signature HENRY through KAMIYA’s vintage-informed design language. Retaining the model’s tall, lace-up construction, the collaboration adds extra volume through the toe for a heavier, more substantial silhouette. Two colorways highlight contrasting treatments of calf leather: Black arrives in smooth leather with a cleaner, subtly lustrous surface, while Brown uses suede, giving the boot a softer, matte appearance with greater textural depth. The dark tonal palettes, metal eyelets and extended lacing maintain the HENRY’s utilitarian character while the enlarged proportions push the familiar shape in a more rugged direction.

KAMIYA’s preference for worn-in finishes is further explored through an additional vintage-treated version, which is distressed to resemble a boot that has already undergone years of wear despite being new. The effect introduces an intentionally weathered appearance that contrasts with the cleaner standard editions, reinforcing the label’s longstanding interest in aged and imperfect surfaces. As a result, the differing smooth, suede and distressed treatments allow the collaboration to move between polished and deliberately lived-in finishes while preserving BROTHER BRIDGE’s recognizable footwear framework. The BROTHER BRIDGE x KAMIYA HENRY boots are scheduled to release on September 19 through KAMIYA’s directly operated store, its online shop and authorized retailers.
