Each year, Nike celebrates its unofficial Air Max Day holiday — presenting a month-filled celebration of the renowned sportswear line and its iconic Air unit. This year, the Air Max Pulse debuted as the line’s latest silhouette launch while throwback releases were headlined by the Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble.”

However, that’s not all the Swoosh has in store for the event. One of its newest models — the Air Max Scorpion — dons a commemorative “Air Max Day” presentation to wrap things up. It has been equipped with a plush lateral Swoosh that joins the colorful Flyknit and chenille blended upper. The multicolor madness pops beneath the bulky white translucent sole unit to continues its flavorful finish. An eye also peeks out at the tongue while direct nods to the holiday arrive at the sockliner and “AIR MAX 3.26” hangtag.

While Air Max Day 2023 wrapped up yesterday, March 26, keep an eye out for the celebratory Nike Air Max Scorpion “Air Max Day” to touch down on shelves in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers at a price of $250 USD as the festivities continue.

For more of the latest footwear news, COMME des GARÇONS’ long-awaited collaboration on the Nike Terminator High has finally received a release date, landing on shelves this week in three colorways.
