atmos Officially Reveals Its Salomon XT-6 "Stars Collide" Collab
Stars and speckled midsoles show face on the pair to reference the concept of celestial collision.
UPDATE: atmos has officially announced its forthcoming Salomon XT-6 “Stars Collide” collaboration. The sneakers draw inspiration from celestial collision — a moment when stardust is scattered in the universe. The kicks are dropping via atmos Japan’s pop-up event on April 3 while a global launch in-store and online will go down on April 8. There will be an in-store & online raffle for the footwear that will be available in a size 5 – 13. The raffle will be available here and it closes on Thursday April 6 at 11:59pm EDT.

As Salomon celebrates the 10th anniversary of the XT-6 in 2023, it’s introducing new colorways, “cousin” styles and collaborators into the popular trail-runner-turned-lifestyle-favorite’s lexicon. The latest collaborative partner to take on the XT-6? atmos, who recently posted a single photo of the upcoming design across their network of Instagram accounts.
There’s only so much that you can deduce from a single, dark teaser photo, but there are a handful of interesting design references that can be spotted across the image atmos revealed. The color scheme appears to feature a mixture of grey, black and brown tones with a key detail provided by a repeating star print on the synthetic overlays. There’s also a co-branded hit on the insole and speckled midsole detailing.
This isn’t atmos’ first project with Salomon — they served as the exclusive retail for a “Buttercup” colorway of the ACS + OG earlier this year — but it is their first official collaboration with the French footwear brand. At the time of writing, there’s no release info or price details on the atmos x Salomon XT-6, but more info is likely to surface soon.
