In 2021, the Star Wars universe expanded in a unique way with the introduction of Star Wars: Visions. Its first volume featured seven Japanese anime studios that created nine animated shorts for fans everywhere to enjoy. Free to explore wild ideas as non-canon material, the resulting pieces went from masterfully depicted duels to a band’s journey in becoming intergalactic rockstars.

Now — following news of a sequel anthology revealed at Star Wars Celebration — a release date and studio list has been shared for its second volume. This time, Lucasfilm has reached out to studios across the globe to offer the opportunity to make its mark on the ever-expanding world of Star Wars. Tapping studios such as Aardman who has created works such as Wallace and Gromit, the project’s already-broad range will be even more diverse this time around. Stay tuned for additional info and trailers and check out the complete list of studios and their episode titles below.

El Guiri (Spain) – “Sith”
Cartoon Saloon (Ireland) – “Screecher’s Reach”
Punkrobot (Chile) – “In the Stars”
Aardman (United Kingdom) – “I Am Your Mother”
Studio Mir (South Korea) – “Journey to the Dark Head”
Studio La Cachette (France) – “The Spy Dancer”
88 Pictures (India) – “The Bandits of Golak”
D’art Shtajio (Japan) – “The Pit”
Triggerfish (South Africa) – “Aau’s Song”

An official release date of May 4, colloquially known as Star Wars Day, has been confirmed by Disney+ and Lucasfilm. The entire animated series will be available for streaming that day via Disney+.
