Michelob ULTRA is no stranger to the golf space. Having partnered in recent times with up and coming brands like Devereux Golf, Bad Birdie and activating through Hypegolf’s events in Miami and Palm Springs, the brand has established itself as a key player in golf’s new wave of heightened energy and inclusivity.

This year, the beverage brand is elevating the game in a big way, running a star-studded, 60 second ad that will air in prime-time during Super Bowl LVII featuring Serena Williams and Emmy award-winning actor Brian Cox, with cameos from the likes of Jimmy Butler, Alex Morgan, Tony Romo, Nneka Ogwumike and Canelo Álvarez.

Titled “New Members Day,” the ad depicts Serena Williams and the famous actor going head-to-head on the links at the fictional Bushwood Country Club, the venue from the 1980 film Caddyshack. True to the iconic golf movie, Serena dons a Scottish cap and plaid pants, Butler sports the recognizable rainbow striped cardigan, and Cox delivers the famous “well, we’re waiting” line.

Meanwhile, onlookers are outfitted in Devereux Golf’s Sunday Best Sweater Vest, part of a full range of golf apparel that arrives as a collaboration between Michelob and DVRX. That collection can be purchased now via Devereux Golf’s website.
