Starting with the recently teased Masters edition “Always Fresh,” the Air Max 1 Golf is the canvas that Nike has chosen to paint on for its 2023 tournament themed releases. Accompanying the peach themed version now is a neon splashed colorway to honor this year’s US Open in Los Angeles.

Given the prominence of street art and murals in LA, Nike has chosen to go with fluorescent tones, airbrushed effects and script lettering to commemorate the tournament. Using a base of white for the quarter panels, the neon green mudguard wraps around the shoe from toe to heel, while the toe box is constructed from a pink ripstop material.

Moving on, the dark grey Swoosh is highlighted with Off-White™ style contrast stitching, while paint splatter meets the beefed up Air Max Units. This same speckled pattern is used on the laces, which weave across the tongue where script airbrush Nike Golf logos are found. The graffiti inspired artwork is used once again on the heels as well as the insoles, and then one last time on the translucent outsoles.

As with the AM1 G “Always Fresh,” look for a release sometime later in the season as we get closer to the US Open at The Los Angeles Country Club.

In the meantime, take a look at Bogey Boys’ latest outdoor themed collection.
