At this year’s Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy will celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with a massive, star-studded performance segment.

The genre-spanning showcase will include Big Boi, Busta Rhymes, Spliff Star, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, GloRilla, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Mele Mel, Scorpio, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, the Lox, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, Run-D.M.C., Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz and Too $hort. Questlove will direct and produce the performance, while LL Cool J will introduce the segment and offer a dedication before performing.

“For five decades, hip-hop has not only been a defining force in music, but a major influence on our culture,” Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said in a statement. “It’s contributions to art, fashion, sport, politics, and society cannot be overstated. I’m so proud that we are honoring it in such a spectacular way on the Grammy stage. It is just the beginning of our year-long celebration of this essential genre of music.”

On Wednesday, the Recording Academy announced that Quavo will also perform at this year’s awards show, as part of the event’s In Memoriam segment. Honoring his late nephew and fellow Migos member Takeoff, Quavo will perform a rendition of his tribute track “Without You,” alongside the Maverick City Music choir.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5.

In more music news, Lil Wayne announced a 28-city Welcome To Tha Carter Tour.
