Off-White™ c/o Virgil Abloh Outfits Somali Boxer Ramla Ali
The kit includes a satin robe, shorts, a jumpsuit, EVERLAST gloves and compression socks.

Off-White™ c/o Virgil Abloh has debuted a bespoke fight kit designed especially for Somali professional boxer Ramla Ali, ahead of her first professional title fight. The undefeated fighter will wear the custom kit in her forthcoming match against Avril Mathie for the IBF Intercontinental Super Bantamweight Title, taking place on February 4 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
“I couldn’t be more excited to finally get to work with such an iconic brand like Off-White™ and the catalyst being the most monumental sporting competition of my career thus far,” Ali said in a statement. “I’ve loved the brand since it’s inception and have always been in awe of Virgil Abloh’s work, the legacy he left behind and the amazing vision that Ibrahim Kamara has continued to achieve and create through his.”
The kit comprises a yellow and blue satin robe, made with yarn and crystal embroideries on the chest, sleeves and back. Signature Off-White™ iconography blends with a Panthera motif, nodding to Ali’s Somali identity. Additionally, blue satin shorts don the OFF emblem on their front, and a seamless jumpsuit stamps the same logo work on the front chest. Rounding out the kit, technical compression socks feature staple graphics, and gloves, made by EVERLAST, feature Off-White™ lettering.
The design was inspired by Ali’s inner identity. In her words, “We have done this with the symbol of the Panthera. An animal that has become synonymous with me. It’s painted across the back of my boxing robe and can also be seen on my country’s coat of arms. A jungle beast that is silent, portraying agility and strength.”
She continued, “The other important symbol on the design is a nickname I seem to have inherited ‘Chingona’ in my time over the last year training in Los Angeles, where my coach, the legendary Manny Robles, is based. The word being a Mexican slang for badass, which apparently I have shown through my hard work, training and grueling spars in the gym.”
