Bit Reactor, Electronic Arts, and Lucasfilm Games have officially shared the first look at Star Wars Zero Company with an action-packed gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026. Shifting away from the traditional frontlines of galactic warfare, the upcoming single-player turn-based tactics video game introduces a gritty, boots-on-the-ground perspective centered around elite mercenaries executing vital clandestine operations.
In Star Wars Zero Company, players assume command as Hawks, a former Republic officer tasked with assembling a rogue team of professionals to hunt down Kundri Fathom, the dangerous leader of a Separatist-aligned cult. The tactical gameplay relies heavily on deliberate battlefield positioning and squad synergy. The campaign boasts an authentic narrative that deeply intertwines with familiar lore, including a crucial crossover mission featuring Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and a disillusioned clone trooper voiced by veteran actor Dee Bradley Baker.
Deep customization serves as a core pillar of the experience, allowing players to recruit and manage specialized Operators from eight iconic species, including Twi’leks, Zabraks, Neimoidians, and Devaronians. From their central base of operations, known as The Den, commanders can upgrade tactical facilities, purchase advanced gear, and chart courses across a dynamic galaxy map. Building camaraderie among the squad during missions unlocks powerful cross-training benefits and support abilities, adding a layered progression system to the high-stakes turn-based combat.
Star Wars Zero Company is scheduled to officially launch on August 27 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with digital pre-orders open immediately.
