Shortly after introducing its newest line of VELOPHASIS lifestyle runners, PUMA is now swiveling our attention back to its basketball category to reveal its latest initiative with its signature athlete LaMelo Ball. The latest project to be announced by the crafty point guard is his newest Rick and Morty x PUMA MB.02 collaboration — the sequel to his co-created offering with the Adult Swim television series that dropped in February 2022.

Much like the duo’s inaugural team-up, this hardwood-ready installment brings back the mismatched color-blocking. The right shoe is devoted to Morty and is styled up with a vibrant blend of neon pink and volt gradient uppers. An image of his face is stamped onto the tongues along with one of his signature phrases “Get Your Sh*t Together” on the interior sides of the tongues. Black webbed overlays wrap around the lateral panels, heels and medials as well. Rick’s motif takes over the left shoe. His face lands on the tongue area and his Tiny Rick episode saying “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!” is printed out on the opposite side. The official Rick and Morty logo is situated on the toe boxes as well for extra flair.

Be on the lookout for PUMA and other retailers to release these on February 17 for $140 USD.
