NEIGHBORHOOD Unveils Taipei Exclusive Releases
Marking the opening of the new location in the city.
Shortly after announcing the opening of NEIGHBORHOOD Taipei, the Japanese label helmed by Shinsuke Takizawa has now unveiled an exclusive release to celebrate the opening of the new location. Comprised of three styles, the sleek black wares are all marked with contrasting graphics in white.
Leading the limited-edition exclusives is a hooded jacket emblazoned with the signature NEIGHBORHOOD logo and “2023 SPRING & SUMMER/NHTPE-8862/CRAFT WITH PRIDE / TOKYO” referencing the area of Taipei, Taiwan. Additional detailing on the outerwear style comes in the form of matching drawstrings at the hood, zip closure, and printed banding. The accompanying hoodie and T-shirt sees the NEIGHBORHOOD logo framed by “CASH/CHAOS” drawn from the label’s signature motifs.
Available as a gift with purchase, the scroll and stamp are widely used in Japan, as well as other Asian cultures. The imprints on the scroll detail NEIGHBORHOOD’s founding year as Heisei 4th year, an era reigned by Emperor Emeritus Akihito. In addition, the ebony seal stamp is a nod to the kinds that were used as a form of signature for the banks.
Take a look at the special range releasing at NEIGHBORHOOD Taipei when it opens February 18.
