Joaquin Phoenix Goes on a Paranoid Adventure in Trailer for A24 and Ari Aster's 'BEAU IS AFRAID'

A24 has shared the full official trailer for Ari Aster‘s BEAU IS AFRAID starring Joaquin Phoenix.
The surrealist comedy horror film will see Phoenix as “a paranoid man [who] embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother,” with the adrenaline-fueled trailer visualizing the actor go through different realms of his “fears” and face the supernatural on his journey after an accident.
Joining Phoenix in the cast are Nathan Lane, Amy Ryan, Stephen Mckinley Henderson, Hayler Squires, Denis Ménochet, Kylie Rogers, Armen Nahapetian, with Parker Posey and Patti LuPone, while Aster returns as the director, writer. The filmmaker will also reunite with Midsommar and Hereditary collaborators Lars Knudsen as producers and Pawel Pogorzelski as the cinematographer.
