Manchester City Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit With Limited-Edition Jersey Capsule
Paying tribute to the successful mission of China’s Lunar rover, the Jade Rabbit in 2013.
Manchester City F.C. and PUMA have just presented a new limited edition Chinese New Year collection to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
So far this season, the current Premier League champions have been spotted playing in three different PUMA jerseys. However, this new collection features a newly-introduced kit alongside an all-new jacket, track pants, and T-shirt — and the entire capsule looks to combine Manchester City’s heritage — which spans back to 1880 — with classic Chinese culture references that pay tribute to the successful mission of China’s Lunar rover, the Jade Rabbit in 2013.
For the new jersey, the top comes designed with a “Blazing Blue” foundation, while PUMA has also included matt gold detailing around the V-neck lining. Rounding off the design, the shirt features a unique sign-off on the neckline with a combination of the Manchester City logo and interwoven rabbits.

You can take a closer look at the new collection from Manchester City and PUMA above and while there has been no indication as to whether Pep Guardiola’s side will wear the jersey in a competitive match this season, you can still purchase it on the official PUMA website and in Manchester City flagship stores globally now.
