ACU and Li-Ning Deliver a Back-to-School Way of Wade 10 "Top Scholar"

After collaborating on a pair of 50/50 skate shoes earlier this year, Shanghai-based retailer ACU and sportswear giant Li-Ning come together for a special-edition take on Dwayne Wade‘s Way of Wade 10 basketball shoes.

As students head back to school this September, the duo craft an intricate “Top Scholar” colorway featuring two mythical Chinese figures riding atop laser-printed Shan-Shui art. The detail-rich uppers feature a patterned wood finish incorporating ACU’s acupuncture logos with Dwayne Wade’s signature icon and stylized logo text. Splashes of Jade are teased along the midfoot and pull tabs while hints of burgundy and gold can be found on the accent plates and contrast-stitching. Rounding out the design are heel banners featuring ten pieces of advice from Wade, carbon accents along the laterals and bottoms, and rippled outsoles.

Included in the packaging are an engraved bamboo scroll and grain shoe pouch. Custom Dwayne Wade jerseys with similar branding accents are also available with the set.

Take an official look at the ACU x Li-Ning Way of Wade 10 “Top Scholar” above and look for the pairs to release on September 1 via Li-Ning’s online and offline channels for ¥‎1,699 RMB (approximately $246 USD). Quantities are limited to 333 pairs.
