Gucci Reinterprets Performance Sneakers Through a Luxury Lens

It’s been a busy start to 2022 for Gucci. Following the launch of its The North Face pop-ups and the release of a Year of the Tiger capsule, the label has gone on to unveil “SUPERGUCCI”, a forthcoming three-part collaboration alongside SUPERPLASTIC.
Showing no sign of slowing down, the Italian fashion house has now unveiled its all-new Gucci Run sneaker in five variations. Inspired by the “sporting world” but “interpreted through a Gucci lens”, the techy silhouette boasts a knit fabric upper which has been decorated with the epochal interlocking “G”.
Arriving in five different colorways — including “White Fabric”, “Grey Fabric”, “Blue Fabric”, “Black Fabric” and “Red/Black Fabric”, each sneaker is rounded out with a bi-color rubber outsole with subtle Gucci branding towards the rear, which sits beneath an elongated heel tab for good measure,
The Gucci Run sneaker is available to buy now from the house’s online store, retailing at £640 (approximately $870 USD).
