Pop Trading Company Delivers Everyday Staples For SS22
Featuring artworks by renowned Dutch artist Gilles de Brock.
There are a handful of brands that have become so synonymous with the products they craft that you tend to know what vibe to expect with every seasonal collection. For Pop Trading Company, this is certainly the case, and for Spring/Summer 2022 its penchant for skate-inspired staples has never been more evident.
The Amsterdam-imprint — which saw out 2021 with a collaborative release alongside Liberty London — has unveiled the lookbook for the first instalment of its forthcoming capsule, which stays inherently true to the brand’s DNA.
There are debuts for a selection of new styles like a tech jacket version of the Big Pocket Overshirt in “Dark Brown”, a bright “Off White” M-65 jacket and a sleeveless reinterpretation of the brand’s half-zip, while the reversible Plada Jacket and Arch Hooded Sweater make welcome returns to this season’s line-up.
What’s more, Pop has teamed up with Dutch visual artist Gilles de Brock — who is renowned for his artwork on ceramic tiles — for multiple designs, which have been realised across a cardigan, corduroy overshirt and T-shirt.
Drop 1 of Pop Trading Company’s SS22 collection is set to land on February 5 and will be available via the brand’s online webstore.
