Amazon Prime has released the new official trailer for season three of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.

The trailer reveals snippets of John Krasinski‘s return as the eponymous CIA agent, this time going rogue. The series returns for its third season after a three-year hiatus and is set to drop all-eight episodes on the December release. This new season begins with Jack finding himself on the run from the CIA. On the quest to prevent a devastating global conflict, Jack is acutely aware that he faces life or death situations. Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly return and reprise their roles of James Greer and Mike November, while the show also features newcomers like Nina Hoss as Czech President Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as CIA Rome Station Chief Elizabeth Wright.

Earlier this year, Hypebeast reported that the series will end with season four. However, the outlet noted that a potential spinoff series might just be in the works, starring Michael Peña as Domingo “Ding” Chavez. The character is expected to make an appearance in the third season, before serving as a main cast member for the final season.

In case you missed it, HBO Max and DC Comics Green Lantern shifts its focus to John Stewart.
