Amazon Studios is reportedly ending the John Krasinski-starring Jack Ryan series after season four.

While the storyline to the franchise is not coming to an end, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan seems to be moving forward with another character headlined by Michael Peña. According to Deadline, sources have told the publication that Krasinski had only signed on for four seasons. The role was also famously played by actors like Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine prior to Krasinski. Peña is expected to make an appearance in the final episode of the fourth season, in line with the announcement Amazon made about Peña’s reveal last October.

It comes as no surprise that the script for the spinoff has not yet been confirmed since the third season of Jack Ryan has not yet had its official release date. In a now expired Instagram Story, Krasinski seemed to suggest that a spring release for the series is possible.
