Recent trends in golf footwear have witnessed brands exploring silhouettes traditionally associated with skateboarding, basketball, running and tennis, but one path less traveled is hiking and outdoor wear. This is where the Air Zoom Infinity Tour 2 Shield comes in, which has been updated for 2022 in shades of black, gunmetal, neon orange and electric blue.

In a similar spirit to Nike’s ACG imprint, the Tour 2 Shield allows golfers to extend the playing season through rain, cold and even snow with its waterproof upper, rubberized mudguard, high-top profile, zippered closure and large piston spikes. With convenience in mind, the front zippers are ergonomically designed to be accessible even while wearing rain gloves.

While the Tour 2 Shield has yet to release in the US, it is available now in Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia and the UK through Nike’s official website for each region.

In other golf news, Jordan Brand is readying the release of a “Playoffs” AJ12 Low G.
