Burberry's "Night Creatures" Campaign Captures the Essence of Exploration
Putting the spotlight on its new “Night Check” outerwear.

Luxury British houses are often steeped in history, and this couldn’t be truer for Burberry. Established in 1856, Thomas Burberry built a brand on the principle that us Brits should have garments to keep us protected from our unpredictably dreary weather, which has enabled the brand to create an identity synonymous with outerwear. It’s a genre of clothing often attached to the idea of exploration — puffer jackets for cold winter walks, trench coats for breezy nights in the city, fleeces for brisk climbs, and now Burberry has released its latest campaign, titled “Night Creatures,” capturing the essence of exploration.
Said to celebrate the “power of curiosity and exploration of the unknown,” Burberry’s “Night Creatures” campaign revolves around three protagonists who, somewhat fortunately, see their night interrupted by an otherworldly sci-fi creature. The video, which was created in collaboration with MEGAFORCE, spans reality and the alternative, all while putting the Burberry Check at the forefront.
As the cast dances around in London’s darkness, Burberry’s outwear takes to the center — a focus on the new “Night Check” appears throughout with its “Dark Charcoal Blue” base serving as the backdrop for white checks twinkling like stars in the night sky. Working puffer jackets and technical fleeces, shirts, knitwear and more, the collection also finds color-blocked nylon jackets, an oversized parka in the classic Horseferry print, and a gabardine trench coat cut to Burberry’s signature Kensington style; a piece known for its ubiquity in the fashion industry.
Burberry’s “Night Creatures” campaign can be seen above, as can a still gallery shot by George Eyers that continues the nighttime exploration. The collection itself is available to shop online now.
