Deon Point Previews a Third Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 SP Colorway

In 2021, Concepts found much success through its slew of collaborative footwear projects with the likes of New Balance, ASICS, Converse and more, and it’s ready to keep that strong momentum going this year. A project with Nike atop the classic Air Max 1 is confirmed to be in the works, and the boutique’s creative director Deon Point has just teased the collection’s third colorway.

Much like the first two colorways that were previewed, this impending installment is decorated with a handful of playful patterns and fabrics. Point has only shown off the right shoe thus far, and this side comes primarily constructed with a light wash denim that makes up the quarter panels and toe boxes. Mudguards have been done up with an olive green canvas that is adorned with a star-shaped silhouette on the forefoot while the forefoot overlay is supplied with brown and white cow hide. Extra accessories include that of three-toned stripes that fit the Swooshes, the tongues and laces which have been graced with a regal burgundy coating, the heels which are plastered with black and white bandana prints and the collars which feature repeating Concepts branding. Rounding off its design comes midsoles that are mostly given a white paint job and feature speckled wallpaper towards the bottom.

Release info has yet to be announced, but you can likely expect these to drop in the coming months via Concepts.
