In 2021, sportswear brands across the board made major moves to consistently outdo themselves with the release of countless footwear collaborations, stunning GRs and more, and the new year is already looking bright in terms of what’s to come. We’re now in the second week of 2022, and the next several days are going to see a range of impressive new launches from imprints such as adidas, Nike, Clarks Originals and more, but before we touch on those, let’s first revisit all of the major sneaker headlines that erupted last week.

HYPEBEAST’s Sole Mates footwear series kept trucking right along as our newest interview with Zixiong Wei about his relationship with the SCRY™ Lab Shuttle went live. On the news front, the folks over at adidas has plenty of new compelling items to share including Bad Bunny’s Response CL and his next Forum Low colorway in “White,” Kerwin Frost’s next sneaker collab, the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Pure Oat” and the all-new Prada x adidas Forum Re-Nylon collection that will finally see a delivery this week.

Nike always tends to show out with some bangers every week, and it certainly didn’t disappoint as the forthcoming CPFM x Nike Dunk Low, Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low “Reverse Zebra” and the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” were teased. A handful of grail-worthy makeups were also unveiled by the Jordan Brand side as we caught a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Georgetown,” the Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master,” the Air Jordan 6 “Mint Foam” and the Spring-ready Air Jordan 5 Low “Arctic Pink.”

Elsewhere in footwear, early images of the A-COLD-WALL* x ROA collaboration leaked, LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.01 “Buzz City” was uncovered and UNITED ARROWS revealed a bespoke Reebok Instapump Fury team-up.

Since you’re all updated with last week’s action, let’s dive into this week’s top 10 releases here below. And when you’re all wrapped up there, be sure to browse through the HBX website for more sneakers to add to your rotation.
