Early Look at the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe”
The simple lifestyle shoe is expected to drop later in 2022.

After coming together towards the tail end of 2020 to launch a Mars Yard 2.5 Wear Tester initiative, Tom Sachs and Nike will be expanding their rich collaborative history with the release of a new offering in 2022. Together, the two parties have designed a brand new Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” which is a straightforward design that evokes memories of simple lifestyle kicks like the Killshot and Waffle One.
A trio of materials formulate the upper half of these all-purpose shoes, the most dominant being a mesh fabric that is used as the base while the overlays atop the mudguards and heels are done up with a buttery suede and the synthetic forefoot overlay is treated with synthetic. All of these are filled in with an off-white hue and come contrasted with clean white Swooshes on the quarter panels. Pops of royal blue are present below tongue’s Nike branding and on the heel tabs, and a tonal Nike spell out is debossed into the back end. Midsoles are coated with a brown tone and come glued to a waffle outsole that’s submerged in a faded black. Moreover, you’ll find Tom Sachs’ moniker printed on the interior of the tongues and a NikeCraft logo stampled onto the blue insoles.
Official release details for these are still unknown, but it’s likely that they will see a release sometime in 2022.
