Reebok Question Low "Retro Colors" Nods to Old-School Philadelphia Phillies Uniforms
And Allen Iverson’s love of retro jerseys and hats.
Reebok is continuing its exploration of Allen Iverson‘s passions, pastimes and personal stories on the Question Mid and Question Low, the latter of which is now set to release in a new “Retro Colors” makeup. Inspired by the powder blue and burgundy uniforms worn by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1980s — and also drawing from Iverson’s love of throwback jerseys and caps — the “Retro Colors” is full-on fan service for Philly fanatics.
Uppers boast a powder blue suede build, accented by a burgundy toe cap, heel piece and collar/tongue trim. Reebok’s famed Vector logo is done up in burgundy on the midfoot and tongue as well. There’s a Question hit on the back of the collar and Iverson’s #3 on the midsole’s heel, while other pops of detail are supplied by burgundy on the eyestays and on the thick white midsole’s signature DMX cushioning units. Down below, the shoe is rounded off by a solid burgundy outsole.
The Reebok Question Low “Retro Colors” will release at European retailers on July 9, then hit Reebok’s webstore and US stockists two weeks later on July 23. Its MSRP is set at a standard $130 USD.
