Nike Sportswear Combines Safari Print, Navy Blue and More on the Latest Dunk Low Scrap

There are a lot of adjectives you can use to describe Nike‘s Dunk Low Scrap, but “subtle” is not one of them. A playful hodgepodge of textures, tones and materials, the Dunk Low Scrap first leaked earlier in 2021 and now a new colorway that combines safari print, navy blue hits and much more has surfaced.

Essentially a layered collage in footwear form, this scrap-ified Dunk Low‘s key detail is the brown and gray safari print on its heels and lateral forefoot overlays. Conceptualized by Tinker Hatfield after a visit to a high-end furniture store in the ’80s, safari print has long stood at the intersection of sport and luxury — and it does the same here.

Apart from the safari print, there’s everything from navy leather to white mesh and black suede on display. Pops of bright red on the heel, forefoot and midfoot inject some extra vibrance into the build, while brown suede makes sure elegance has its say as well. There’s even random embroidered bars, splayed across the upper and done up in brown and aqua blue. Rounding the look off are white Swooshes rimmed with red trim, white midsoles and icy blue outsoles.

At the time of writing, a release date for this Nike Dunk Low Scrap has yet to be announced. However, more info will likely surface soon.
