As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, the NBA has worked with Nike on a set of team-inspired takes on the Dunk Low, and the latest franchise to get in on the festivities is the Chicago Bulls. One of the league’s most popular organizations thanks to the contributions of icons like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Derrick Rose, the Bulls’ new low-cut Dunk adds to a pack that already contains shoes inspired by the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.

The Bulls’ Air Jordan-esque Dunk was in fact the first NBA x Nike Dunk Low to be revealed, but sneaker leaker Yankee Kicks has given us a much more detailed look at its stylings. Built entirely of leather, its upper features a color scheme that combines “Sail” toeboxes, quarter panels and collars with signature “Chile Red” mudguards and eyestays. Black is introduced into the mix as well, appearing on heels, heel tabs, collar flaps, Swooshes and laces.

Two pieces of special branding are present: the sail-colored nylon tongue boasts a 75th anniversary NBA logo and the silver lace deubre features a laser-engraved diamond graphic. Classic red Nike branding returns on the heel, and the upper is brought together both literally and figuratively by black laces. Down below, white midsoles with black contrast stitching work with red outsoles to finalize the look.

An official release date for the NBA x Nike Dunk Low EMB “Chicago Bulls” has yet to be revealed, but early reports place its arrival in October — right around the 2021-22 NBA season’s tip-off. The MSRP will be set at $110 USD.
