In the past, the NBA and Nike have enriched its partnership via the release of collaborative footwear, and after working on a plethora of Air Force 1s together, both parties are broadening their portfolio with a collection of Dunks. This collection will celebrate the NBA’s 75th anniversary, and one of the team-focused iterations that will be hitting the shelves this Fall is hits NBA x Nike Dunk Low “Brooklyn Nets” colorway.

This palette of this impending makeup channels retro energy as it translates the New Jersey Nets franchise colors. The squad’s accenting gray hue touches the most sections of the shoe such as the tongues, toe boxes, collars and quarter panels while a navy blue is utilized to decorate the Swooshes, forefoot overlays and heels. A crisp white overlay is found on the lateral and medial heels to complete its home uniform-inspired aesthetic. In terms of branding, a “NBA 75th anniversary” embellishment is substituted in for the Nike Air logos on the tongues while the lateral heels showcase a Nets hits that combines the logos from the New Jersey and Brooklyn eras. Exposed stitchings on the midsoles are dialed to a bright red and give the shoe an extra amount of pop, while the outsoles are dyed entirely in navy.

Be on the lookout for these to drop sometime in October 2021 likely via SNKRS and other retailers.
