While Kanye West tucks himself away in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium to put the finishing touches on his highly anticipated album DONDA, he’s still staying connected to the news headlines by unveiling more of what he’s got up his sleeve on the footwear front. The remaining months of 2021 are jam packed with a bevy of new YEEZY drops, one being this adidas YEEZY 700 V3 “Dark Glow” that has just emerged via early imagery.

At first glance, this particular installment may look identical to the “Alvah” colorway that launched back in April 2020, but there’s a design element here that allows it to stand on its own. It’s been confirmed by the YEEZY team that the futuristic cages that affix to the side panels of this lifestyle iteration also boast glow-in-the-dark capabilities, but they shine with a vivid blue instead of green. Other sections of the shoes are essentially designed in similar fashion to the “Alvah” as the upper constructions and bottom units are completely dyed in black. Packed inside the midsoles is a substantial amount of EVA foam to provide wearers with a comfortable ride.

According to YEEZY MAFIA, the YEEZY 700 V3 “Dark Glow” is expected to release in the coming weeks for the usual $200 USD price point.
