ASICS Gives Its GEL-Preleus an Illuminous Makeover
Arriving in either “Illuminate Yellow/Sheet Rock” or “Pure Silver”.

ASICS has followed up the launch of its “Aizuri Blue” and “Camel Beige” GEL-Preleus earlier this year by dropping another duo of the striking retro runners.
Arriving in either “Illuminate Yellow/Sheet Rock” or “Pure Silver”, the GEL-Preleus draws design inspiration from the free-flowing movement of clouds, which has been conveyed through a layering of suede and mesh on the upper.
During its initial creation in the mid-2000s, the GEL-Preleus was created by two designers — one designing the upper, the other the techy tooling system. The result? a striking silhouette that epitomises mid-2000s sneakers.
Sat atop ASICS’ legendary GEL cushioning and TRUSSTIC support system, each sneaker is completed with neat contrasting branding on the side, with logos found on both the tongue and heel.
Available now from the brand’s online webstore, the ASICS GEL-Preleus “Illuminate Yellow/Sheet Rock” and “Pure Silver” retails from £100 (approx $138 USD).
